I don't really know where to start. Meeting you at Spanish class was one of the most fortunate events in my life. You were always so generous and positive. I remember when we queued over night to get centre court tickets for Wimbledon... polishing off at least 3 bottles of something pretty strong and having a great time. Heading to BBC radio 4 comedy shows, and of course I remember our regular GBK catchup's. I was so looking forward to visiting me in Spain and finding the equivalent for our long overdue meet up.

You were so generous, letting me stay at yours when I first visited London after moving to Spain, letting me crash even though I was out all day and you were seriously flued up! I know how much you loved being and Uncle and am so sorry you didn't get the chance to do your year teaching in South America. I'll miss you and I'm sorry my sister didn't manage to get a good photo of you when we made it on to TV at Wimbledon. RIP Buddy
